Sebastian is a friendly and approachable professional originally from Texas, now making a home in California. While they have a background in criminal law, they have recently transitioned into employment law, driven by their genuine desire to assist others. With a warm and empathetic nature, Sebastian takes great pleasure in helping individuals navigate their legal challenges. They understand that behind every case, there is a person with unique concerns and aspirations. Their approachable demeanor makes them easy to approach and confide in.

Outside of their legal pursuits, Sebastian expresses their love for various art forms. He enjoys going to different museums and can spend countless hours at Balboa Park. Additionally, they love exploring new restaurants and cuisines, always seeking out delightful dining experiences. In their downtime, enjoys catching up on popular shows that they may have missed out on, staying culturally engaged and fostering relatable conversations with clients.

Office Administrator

Bonnie is the go-to person in the firm. She brings great energy and loves to problem-solve. During her 25+ years, Bonnie has been involved in all aspects of the firm. After earning her paralegal certificate, she started with the firm in 1997 as a paralegal. Four years later, she transitioned into the office administrator position where she was responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of the firm, which include human resources, finances, case management, and technology, among other things. In 2017, Bonnie switched gears and was instrumental in building the business development department. In June 2022, she stepped back into the shoes of the office administrator, a favorite position for her.

During her free time, Bonnie loves to read, craft, travel, ride her Harley, and spend time with her family.

Michael Simpson

Office Services Manager

Michael is the Office Services Manager at GrahamHollis APC and makes sure that all our computers and programs are humming along like a well-oiled engine. He handles all aspects of document management, from mail to copying and scanning to electronic data processing. Michael is also the firm’s facilities manager. He makes certain that we have a roof over our heads, functioning climate control, running water and all other comforts of a productive office environment. He has worked with GrahamHollis APC for over 23 years. During this time, Michael started his own janitorial company and earned his California Notary Public Commission in 2014.

Michael is a devoted family man and enjoys the many adventures his wife and kids bring to his life.

Andrea is a paralegal in the offices of GrahamHollis APC. Andrea was born and raised in San Diego and is fluent in Spanish. In 2015, Andrea earned her BA in Anthropology, specializing in Education Studies from the University of Los Angeles. Prior to joining GrahamHollis, APC, Andrea worked as a paralegal in a stabilized law office in San Diego that practiced employment and consumer lawsuits throughout California.

In her spare time, Andrea enjoys time with her family and friends, reading, watching her favorite sports team, and attending live concerts with her sister.

Viviana Samaniego

Business Development Director

Viviana began working as a Spanish Bilingual Intake Specialist at Graham Hollis APC law offices in mid-2021. Through much collaboration and dedication, Viviana took over the Business Development Director role and currently oversees the Intake Department. Viviana is a San Diego native who is passionate about helping those in rough life situations. With previous experience managing the administration of a hospice for the San Diego region and managing the cases of those receiving Cash Aid from the government, Viviana is experienced in dealing with high-stress situations with calmness and efficiency. Viviana obtained a bachelor’s in Women’s and a minor in Counseling and Social Change. She is passionate about social justice and keen to be a resource point for those who may need it.

In her free time, Viviana enjoys trying new restaurants, playing with her dog, and enjoying the beautiful San Diego weather outside.

Gabriela is a Bilingual Paralegal at the law offices of Graham Hollis APC.

Born and raised in Mexico City, Gabriela is a bilingual paralegal commited to protecting workers’ legal rights.

Gabriela has atained an associate degree in Paralegal Studies from San Diego College; among her multifaceted roles within the firm, she contributes to the Human Resources Department. This role allows her to interact with all her coworkers.

Beyond her professional life, Gabriela cherishes moments spent with family and friends. Gabriela often finds herself immersed in the pages of a good book. She also likes working out and is a music lover

Carrie Rogers

Carrie Rogers is a recent graduate of the UCSD Paralegal Program. Carrie was born and raised in Scotland, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Japanese and Business from the University of Stirling and a Master’s Degree in Japanese from the University of Edinburgh. She was previously a Japanese translator for a major financial institution in Tokyo, where she was first exposed to employment law and contracts.

Outside of work, Carrie enjoys spending time with her husband, two high-energy boys, and a highenergy dog, going to wineries, reading, traveling, and watching Japanese and Korean dramas.

Florence Goldson

Florence Goldson

Paralegal

Florence is a dedicated paralegal at GrahamHollis APC. She was originally raised in Santa Clarita, California and in 2016 Florence moved to Merced, California to attend undergraduate school. In 2019 Florence graduated from the University of California, Merced with a B.A. in Sociology. After graduating early, Florence wanted to further her education and attended the University of California, San Diego.

In 2020, Florence obtained her paralegal certificate from UCSD and started her legal career at a plaintiff’s personal injury law firm as an intake paralegal. Since then, Florence has successfully managed cases from intake to trial. Prior to joining GrahamHollis, Florence gained extensive trial experience focusing on plaintiff’s consumer protection and business litigation cases. Florence’s commitment to protecting the legal rights of plaintiffs throughout California is evident and she has found her passion for employment law at GrahamHollis.

While not in the office, Florence enjoys attending Orange Theory workout classes, spending time with her dog Cookie, and exploring new restaurants around San Diego with friends.

Mercedes is an intake specialist at Graham Hollis APC. Mercedes was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas and recently moved to San Diego. She studied Political Science and Foreign Language – Spanish at Fort Hays State University. Before joining Graham Hollis APC in San Diego, she gained experience at a nonprofit law firm in Kansas City, Missouri. This firm handled landlord/tenant, employment, and consumer cases on behalf of low-wage workers. While there she managed the legal support hotline and oversaw office administration. Mercedes has also worked with numerous asylum seekers in need of legal support, shelter, and food through interning and volunteering with multiple human rights organizations in Tijuana, Mexico.

In her free time, Mercedes enjoys traveling, volunteering, and spending time with friends and family.

Eric is a dedicated intake specialist at Graham Hollis APC. He earned his degree in Political Science from UC Berkeley, where he actively supported immigrant rights and advocated for improvements in social justice laws. Eric’s passion for making a difference led him to work at the East Bay Community Law Center, assisting individuals in navigating government benefits.

Upon returning to San Diego, Eric broadened his legal expertise by contributing to Personal Injury and Immigration law firms. This diverse experience equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of various legal domains. Currently, Eric is channeling his knowledge to help individuals facing employment issues.

Outside of the legal realm, Eric is a devoted family man, cherishing moments with loved ones. His interests extend to the outdoors, where he finds joy in activities like travel and attending baseball games.

Azul holds the role of Intake Specialist at GrahamHollis APC, bringing nearly two years of valuable experience within the legal domain. A native of San Diego, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from San Diego State University in 2023. Commencing her journey in the legal sphere as a legal assistant at a prominent workers’ compensation firm, Azul’s ardor for advocating workers’ rights catalyzed her pivot towards labor law.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Azul derives fulfillment from her relationships with friends and family. An advocate for holistic well-being, she invests her leisure time in outdoor activities and weight training, recognizing the significance of nourishing both body and mind. Azul appreciates the simple pleasures of enjoying delicious food in her free time. She’s also a big fan of hanging out with her trio of furry pals: Boonche, Paco, and Cuca.

Jackelin Ambriz

Jackelyn is an intake specialist at Graham Hollis. Jackelyn was born in San Diego and grew up spending time between Tijuana and San Diego with family and friends on both sides of the border. She recently graduated from the University of California Berkeley with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Latinx studies, and is a proud community college transfer student. Jackelyn has a particular interest in domestic and international law regarding civil and human rights. It is exciting for Jackelyn to work at an employment law firm that defends the legal rights of workers in California.

Outside of work Jackelyn loves spending time with loved ones, including her pet bearded dragon. She enjoys all types of art, especially reading. She especially likes reading fictional literature, poetry, as well as newsletters on international issues.
