Brisa Martinez

Brisa was admitted to the California Bar and has been practicing law since 2022.

Brisa was born and raised in a small town in Illinois. She graduated from Northern Illinois University magna cum laude with her Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy.

Brisa also graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law where she received her Juris Doctor degree with a concentration in Employment and Labor Law. While in law school, she joined GrahamHollis as a law clerk working on several wage and hour class action cases. During her time in law school, Brisa also worked for the Workers' Rights Clinic where she assisted lower-income workers with a variety of employment issues including employee rights, discrimination, medical leave, workplace safety, unpaid wages, unemployment benefits, harassment, and wrongful termination.

Her interest and passion for employment law began from her own personal experience. Before attending law school Brisa worked as a cosmetologist and nail technician. She realized that many employees were unaware of their rights and were taken advantage of and mistreated by their employers.

Brisa continues to specialize in employment discrimination and wage and hour class action cases as an associate of GrahamHollis APC.

In her time away from the office, Brisa enjoys hiking, going to the beach, spending time with her dog, trying new restaurants, reading self-help books, traveling, and doing Pilates.
