Oswaldo Xavier Calvachi
Xavier Calvachi is an associate at GrahamHollis, APC and has been with the firm since 2018, when he began as a post bar law clerk.
Xavier was born and raised in La Habra, California and attended California State University, Chico for his undergraduate studies. While at Chico State, Xavier was an intern at the Community Legal Information Center, a free legal aid clinic, in the Disabled and the Law department, where he represented individuals who had been denied Social Security Disability and Social Security Insurance benefits before administrative law judges. After serving as an intern for one semester, Xavier was promoted to Director of the Disabled and the Law program, where he continued to serve the Chico community as well as train and supervise new interns. Xavier's dedication and efforts to help the local community earned him the Chico State Advocacy Award in 2013.
Xavier attended California Western School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2018. While at California Western, Xavier was twice on the Dean's Honor List and earned an American Excellence award for receiving the highest grade in his Legal Research and Writing class. While in law school, Xavier interned at a couple of small boutique law firms, where he found his passion for employment law. Additionally, Xavier went on to earn his LLM degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2021.
Xavier is fluent in Spanish. Since joining GrahamHollis, he has worked in the business development team serving as an initial contact to potential new clients as well as representing plaintiffs in both individual and class action cases involving wage and hour disputes.
During Xavier's free time, he enjoys working out, playing golf, hanging out with his Frenchie Sansa, and watching his Los Angeles Lakers.
